Dramatic Card for Team Challenge

Here is another card in our Team Bingo Challenge for June. I love our team challenges because they get met creating and sharing more often and in new ways. The more you use your supplies the more economical they become!

The other night as I was falling asleep I was thinking about this last Bingo challenge with the theme of using an Online Exclusives Set or Bundle. I love the Impressions Abloom Bundle and it came to mind to go dramatic with the colors. Secret Sea and Cloud Cover is what I settled on. The photo just doesn't do it justice at all. What looks more white is really the Cloud Cover which has more of a blue tint to it.

I embossed just the front of the card base with the Damask folder. This is a great embossing folder!

Next I stamp the detail image of the flowers on Secret Sea CS and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

The flower centers are in Cloud Cover stamped with the same ink for detail. I also die cut the tiny flowers to scatter around, too.

I die cut the oval from the Bundle and used it as a background to give some light and separation for the flowers and background.

After assembling the flowers I laid them out on the card front to see how it looked. Take your time to adjust and think about your design. I moved things around a bit before settling on this look. I popped up the large middle flower then glued the rest down. A few of the small flowers are also popped up, too.

I added some Rhinestones to flower centers and used my journal pen to details the flower centers. Sometimes it the tiniest details that really bring it all together!

The Take Your Pick Tool is a must have item in my opinion. What you see in the photo is what you get when you buy the tool. Two putty tips for picking up and placing gems, small pieces, etc. I used it for placing the flower centers, tiny flowers and gems. You also get a spatula type tip the has a pointer tip on it's other end. The tip with two different sized scoring tips. It's a great tool and you can buy other tips to use with it!

I hope you like this look and all the other cards I made for the Team Bingo Challenge. Come back often for more ideas.
